Sváfnir (origin: Old Vallandan) roughly translates to ‘the slayers’ in the common tongue. They were a group of rebels who unsuccesfully sought to take advantage of the unrest in Valland in 264 in order to commit regicide. They were exiled, eventually coming to settle in Atria.
