Culantro

Culantro is related to the carrot, with a very similar flavour profile to cilantro: fresh, citrusy, bright and with a hint of tart pepper, but a bit more subdued than cilantro. It's used as a close substitute for cilantro in the hotter summer months, preferring the heat that cilantro dislikes. It grows best in partial shade with moist soil, and its leaves are a pale green, long with serrated edges. It grows all along the Atrian and Selesymemarian coasts in the humid summer months.
